Sunrise Veterinary Surgery is a purpose designed RCVS accredited state-of-the-art independent veterinary practice, established in 2009, providing high quality health care for your pets.
Your pet’s health and welfare is at the heart of our agenda. We will do everything needed to provide the best possible care for your pet, taking into consideration your individual needs and expectations.
If you are not registered with us, we would normally offer you an opportunity to visit us so that we could give you a tour behind the scenes and answer any questions you may have. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus concerns a visit to the surgery is not appropriate for the time being. We can instead provide you a virtual video linked tour of the surgery.
Registering with us is easy – just call us to give your details; we will obtain your pet’s previous clinical history and take care of the rest.

Shams is sensitive, takes his time to explain everything to you...showing x rays/diagnostic images. So happy to have the team look after our boy.

We moved vets when Shams opened this surgery to continue with his care for our dog. He and the team have always been professional, caring and helpful. The few times Molly needed treatment (including having her puppies) he explained thoroughly to help us understand, the surgery performed or treatment given went well, she recovered as expected and the after care was excellent. We recently said goodbye to Molly, and until the end we experienced compassion, and a thoughtful and supportive approach. I cannot recommend Shams and his team enough.
We always get an excellent service here. Shams is very good as explaining the issues our dog has clearly and what the treatment prescribed does. All the staff are great and very friendly and I'd highly recommend the practice.
The team at Sunrise vets are a dedicated, caring, professional, wonderful bunch of people. Our senior dog Bruno has been with the Sunrise family for 3 years and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Their communication is thoughtful, efficient, and timely. They always find the time to answer our queries (which as first time dog owners is really helpful!) and genuinely care. Dr Mir is a warm and friendly professional vet. He will go the extra mile to ensure your pet is treated with the utmost care. The surgery is new, modern and spotless. The Sunrise team are welcoming and new customers are invited to take a look around to judge the surgery for themselves. This is a small, individual-focused vets where patients and their owners are known and looked after properly.
