Operating Theatre

Our diagnostic imaging, prep room and operating theatre are equipped with wall-mounted anaesthetic machines with piped gases and a supply safety alarm system. All machines are associated with active scavenging systems, which means the oxygen is not recycled and prevents pollution of the environment with anaesthetic gases. To deliver the volatile anaestheic agent, alongside oxygen we also use Nitrous oxide gas, which provides pain-relief during surgical procedures. These systems facilitate safe and smooth general anaesthesia and a prompt recovery. This, besides our careful surgical procedures and optimal pain management protocols, ensures that almost all dogs leaving the surgery go home wagging their tails and cats and rabbits are as relaxed as they can be.
